Converse One Star

I want to tell you something about Converse history today. In 2008 the company celebrated its 100 anniversary. It was a great event because Converse is the best basketball shoes well known all over the world and worn by famous NBA players. But many of us don’t know that Converse didn’t start as a shoe company in basketball business.

Converse released its first pair of boots in 1908. They were making rubber soled footwear. Only in 1917 the first basketball shoes was released. The model line was named Converse All Star. The company found a promoter in the person of Charles “Chuck” Taylor. He was doing his best and in 1923 his signature was added to the All Star patch.

Converse became extremely popular footwear so in 1975 converse added “One Star” to its lineup. These shoes were low-cut created right for the basketball. Then they were adopted by skaters. But till now they are seeking for the changes in design.

In 2008 the shoes developers collaborated to make the new Converse One Star. Let’s see what Converse One Star is!

Winter Release: Converse from Japan

Converse has created many new models this winter. Today I want to present the whole release of Japan 2009 Converse shoes. They are of different colors and types but I love them all!

This are the winter Converse shoes made in Japan. They are quite original and really warm.

These spotty ones differ with interesting design. You can buy it not only in Japan but here in US. I think your friends will be surprised when you appear in such stylish boots!

Here is the blue release making us happy with the new eccentric idea!

Today I want to tell you about my favorite Converse boots. They are 1 HUND (Red) Converse All Stars. They are designed by Terence Koh. They belong to artist series. The sneakers are all-white with the red inset.

The Terence Koh Converse 1HUND (RED) Chuck Taylor All Star was released on November 21st at Opening Ceremony. I’ve bought them already. They are really great!

Converse All Stars HI Leather

Do you like leather shoes? I know you do especially ones done by Converse. Chuck Taylor could do the amazing leather boots. When I saw them at first I couldn’t help buying them! They are All Stars strap HI Leather.

All we know the previous All Stars HI model. This is the improved version and we see the addition of two ankle straps. These boots are available in black and white leather.

These Converse are so stylish! I’m really fond of them.

Lindsey Lohan is selling Converse

Hi everybody! Today is Thursday and I have good news! Do you know that several days ago Lindsey Lohan made an auction in the Internet! It was really cool. I think many fans were entered website to buy something. I’m not her biggest fan but you know how much I love Converse. So can you imagine that she put one of her Converse sneakers for sale? I was really impressed!

This purple Converse cost only $35
The luck man bought them.
Lindsey is going to save 40 children in New Delhi for one day work.
Except Converse she offered black leather boots, jackets, jeans, hats and handbags, starting at $25.

BBC released: BBC released a statement on her behalf, “We would like to stress that she did not say she was present at the raid, this is a misinterpretation. She was merely referring to a raid that happened connected to child trafficking-the subject of the program.”

S Friday Flashback: Converse B-M600

FRIDAY! Can you tell that I’m fired up? I love Friday’s so much that in my classroom I’ve renamed Thursday as Friday Eve. Welcome to the Converse Blog’s Friday Flashback. Today I’m bringing you a Converse running shoe from the 80’s. It goes by the name of the Converse B-M600.

I’d never seen these shoes until they showed up on eBay and then a week or two later another colorway showed up. I’m loving the use of the square star scripted Converse logo. College Football is live this weekend. I’ll be in the Nasty for the Rumble on the River between Miami Ohio and My University of Kentucky Wildcats!

S Friday Flashback: Converse Classic Golf.

Welcome to the Converse Blog’s Friday Flashback. Today’s Flashback is the Converse Classic Golf shoe. Back in the day Converse made Golf Shoes, and that’s exactly what these are. Brown Leather, Metal Spikes, Lace Guard flap, it’s all right here in these Converse Classic Golf shoes.

Today you’d be hard pressed to find anyone playing golf with metal spikes, but it used to be the only way to play. They aren’t even allowed at our local country club, which stinks because if I ever find a pair I’d have to drive somewhere else to play haha. Anyway Golf has been on my mind lately since my PS3 died I’ve been playing the Wii and some Tiger Woods! S Friday Flashback: Converse ECO shoes.

If you couldn’t figure out, the whole Dwyane Wade to wear chucks was a very bad attempt at a April Fools joke. Oh well maybe I fooled one or two you out there. Now onto the Friday Flashback.

A few years ago Converse had a line of trail shoes going by the name of Converse ECO. I actually had a pair of these in a different colorway. These shoes were build tough, and wore them while helping to build an outdoor classroom in my high school biology class. In fact I would still probably be able to wear them had I not been an idiot and tried to put them on while they were still tied. I know we all do it, but we really shouldn’t. I messed up the heel cap and now sometime sharp sticks out and attacks my heel. Oh well, I am still holding out hope to find a pair on the eBay someday.
